User Testimonial: Tech Pianist Frederick Moyer
During more than 25 years as a full-time concert pianist, Frederick Moyer has established a vital musical career that has taken him to forty-one countries and to such distant venues as Suntory Hall in Tokyo, Sydney Opera House, Windsor Castle, Carnegie Recital Hall, Tanglewood, and the Kennedy Center. He has appeared as piano soloist with world renowned orchestras including the Cleveland, Philadelphia and Minnesota Orchestras, the St. Louis, Dallas, Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Houston, Boston, Singapore, Netherlands Radio, Latvian, Iceland and London Symphony Orchestras, the Buffalo, Hong Kong and Japan Philharmonic Symphony Orchestras, the National Symphony Orchestra of Brazil, and the major orchestras of Australia.
His wide-ranging interests have led him to undertake many unique and ground-breaking projects. In addition to his 22 recordings on the Biddulph, GM and JRI labels, he was the first to make a commercial recording using the Bosendorfer 290 SE Recording Piano. He has written many software programs to aid with practicing, analyzing, recording and performing music. Currently he is working on a recording of piano concerti where the orchestra is created with a computer using "sampling" techniques. He is a member of the Jazz Arts Trio, (piano, bass and drums) which plays note-for-note transcriptions of improvisations by the great jazz piano trios of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, Erroll Garner and others.
Here's what Frederick has to say about his new AirTurn page turner:
"I have been delighted with the AirTurn. It is simple and problem-free. It took me about 10 minutes to incorporate it into my own software that I use for practicing and performing. I have always wanted a wireless foot pedal. Thank you for providing it!"

| Wacom Bamboo Graphic Tablets add Pen and Ink to your Computer |

Wacom's line of Bamboo Graphic Tablets are the perfect solution for adding the natural feel of pen and paper to your computer scores and documents. Bamboo pen tablets plug into your computer's USB port and make it quick and easy for you to draw and annotate your digital music. Compatible with Mac and PC computers, the Bamboo Tablets are available in pen-only or pen-and-mouse versions. |
Tablet PCs now available in our Web Store
Tablet PCs are Windows-based laptops that feature special screens that can accept pen and - in some models, such as the HP Touchsmart shown on the left - finger input for mouse and inking functions, combining the ease of pen and paper with the power of digital technology. These are the ultimate music reading tools for musicians on the go, with screens that can swivel around in and fold over so that music can be viewed in full-page portrait mode in a compact design that can rest safely on any music stand (the Fujitsu Stylistic Tablet PC actually does away with the physical keyboard altogether, making it the most svelte model in our lineup!)

| Digital Music Reader? Check. Music-Reading Software? Check. Hands-Free Page Turner? Check. Now the last chain in your link to converting from paper to pixels is the scanner, and we're offering some of the very best models to that end.
The Plustek OpticBook Scanners feature a unique scanning surface design, where the glass comes right up to the edge of the unit, making it easier to lay books completely flat and eliminating "binder shadow" for perfectly clean scans that look gorgeous on computer screens.
We offer a variety of models, including a special Plustek A300 scanner that can accommodate oversized conductor scores! |
