How to Import PDF's Directly into MusicReader
Having just finished teaching for two weeks as the head of Piano Studies at Strings International Music Festival, I've gotten some terrific questions from the participating students on using MusicReader for their own studies, which I will try to share as articles and video tutorials here.
One student asks:
I got a piece of music from the web, and it is on our computer as an adobe acrobat file. I right clicked it, and hit open with music reader. It asked me whether I wanted the double view or half, or the other ones, and I clicked double. A few seconds later it said error, it cannot open this kind of file. I wanted to know how to make the acrobat file into a music reader file.
In a previous video tutorial, I showed how you could virtually "print" a PDF document (or any printable document, for that matter) into MusicReader. There's actually a more direct way to convert PDF's into MusicReader files using MusicConvert, which you can see in this video tutorial:
